This resource will explain how to conduct a Missouri parolee lookup free of cost.

How To Conduct a Free Missouri Parole Search (Verify Anyone’s Status)

Parole records are generally open to the general public for community safety. In Missouri, the state Department of Corrections (MODOC) manages the data of parolees and is responsible for supervising them.1

The MODOC has an Offender Search Tool that can be used for free to look up details of active parolees in the state.2

Interested individuals can use full names (including first and last name) or DOC IDs to conduct a Missouri parolee search through the DOC search tool.

The tool provides a wide range of information in the results including date of birth, nature of the offense committed by the offender, mug shot, physical description, current location, permanent address, and parole officer assigned. The MODOC updates the database of the tool regularly so that citizens have access to the latest information.

In case residents have any queries about the information available on the MODOC search tool, they can email them to constituentservices@doc.mo.gov. Furthermore, if a citizen is a crime victim, they can email their concerns and questions to victims@doc.mo.gov.

In addition to that, another way of obtaining parolee information in Missouri is through the State Board of Probation & Parole. The Missouri Probation & Parole Board is a seven-member committee that hears offenders’ appeals on probation and parole.3

The committee, after hearing the cases, reviewing the offender’s behavior during their jail time, and assessing whether or not they can be considered as a public threat, gives the verdict.

The department can be contacted to find out about specific active parolees using the following information:

Missouri Board of Probation & Parole
3400 Knipp Dr.
Jefferson City Missouri 65109

Phone Number: 573-751-8488
Email: probation.parole@doc.mo.gov

Interested citizens can visit the parole and probation board office during regular business hours (8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday) for parolee records (note that the office is closed during weekends and holidays). Furthermore, researchers can also call and email the department for records requests.

Execute a Search for Parole Violators & Runaways (Absconders)

People who have violated the terms of their early release are called parole violators whereas individuals who have fled from relative authorities during parole are termed as parole absconders.

The MODOC Offender Search Tool can be used by citizens for free to find out about active parole violators and absconders in the state. The tool will display the status of “Parole Violator” or “Parole Absconder” in the offender’s profile if such is the case.

Residents can use full names or DOC ID numbers to conduct a search for parole violators and absconders in Missouri. The results will show the primary details of the matching offenders, and upon clicking on their ID Numbers, searchers will be able to review more detailed profiles of the offenders.

In addition to that, searchers can also contact their local police departments to look up information about active parole violators and absconders. A parolee can be searched by their full name or DOC ID, and upon clicking on the DOC ID in the results, searchers will be able to check the complete profile of the offender. In this profile, there is a section on the assigned officer which will display the name of the supervision officer assigned to that parolee.
